"Believe Out Loud Power Summit: Day One"

The "Believe Out Loud Power Summit" got off to a great start in Orlando this morning with a rousing sermon by the Reverend Rebecca Voelkel, faith work director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.
“Too many times, religion has been used to demonize and persecute LGBT people, just as religion has and continues to be used to justify oppression of other communities. But we’re not standing for this and we’re not staying silent. The Gospel of Jesus Christ calls us to work for justice, inclusion and right relationship for all people, and all means all.”
Here's the conclusion, caught on YouTube:

Visit the NGLTF (National Gay & Lesbian Task Force) website for more about the conference which concludes on Monday. And stay tuned for further updates from Orlando!
