I was honored to have the opportunity to speak with her Grace at this blessed event. I appreciated her honesty and forthright answers given to those who questioned particulars at the event. I was saddened that Bishop Stanton was not present at this event despite his feelings toward the Presiding Bishop. As the PB reminded us, we should still pray for those who do not share our views in the church. We still need to value one another and allow each person to hold his/her opinion even when we disagree with them. This adds to the true diversity of the church. May God continue to shine on the ministry of Katharine Jefferts Schori.
